I'm not normally one for minimalist styles, but I love this home near Cape Town, South Africa. I love the rustic feel and the light, & of course those little Pugs are adorable.

Sorry I have been a bit out of touch lately, but I haven't been feeling great. I will try & post more often!

Clothes I love & a great book

Hi everyone

Well, its been great having my husband back, wow - what a difference it makes. Life just feels normal again. 

These clothes are current at Monsoon & I love them. That gold cardigan is from their Fusion Collection, & it is a lot more "gold looking" in real life. Thing is, it is €95 (ouch) - so will have to wait, I am afraid!

My Kitchen..(well, some of it)

Hello all   

I thought I would show you some more of my kitchen now that it has been painted white. The shelves could probably do with a bit more sorting! I will take photos of the other side of the kitchen (if i can keep it clean long enough to get a picture!) I think I have achieved what I wanted to - which is a white, crisp & fresh look. It definitely does feel bigger & much brighter.

I am so excited because my Husband is home from the States tomorrow after nearly 2 weeks. I have missed him so much & I can't wait to hear all his news.

Spring is in the air!

Hi there everyone.

We had such a lovely weekend at my friend Stephanie's house, I have just spoken to her at the airport & she is on her way to Brisbane!How lucky!

These are just a few snippets from my house, I was so happy to see the kids planting seeds on Sunday, the pots are now on the windowsill in the kitchen & of course my 7 year old boy has come down the last 2 mornings to see if "anything has grown yet"...I suppose it seems so long for them to wait! It really feels like Spring, the skies have been blue & the temperature even got up to 10 degrees this afternoon. Yahoo!
