Hi everyone

Well this has been my view for the weekend...been sick in bed, can't believe how this flu has hit me. I have been reading 2 books at the same time, & this is one of them - American Wife. Its become really good...was a big slow in the beginning..I suppose thats one thing about being unwell, you catch up on your reading.

Bits n bobs

 

 

Hello all

Just a few shots from around my home. My hubby put those shelves up a few weeks ago (they from Ikea) & I love them. I just need to re-arrange (& re-arrange some more) until I am happy with how it looks! I have so many books around this house, & its about time they are organized!

I am trying to collect Cath Kidston dishes, but its going very slowly, they are pretty expensive..(& a few things have broken..) but I love this collection of hers - I think its called "Spray Flowers.." I wouldn't mind the Sugar Bowl & Gravy boat...

The last pic is of a chair I love, it reminds me of the 1920's...

Well, I am just in bed today, have a horrible flu, but will be working on my project for college whilst lying down. I wonder how good it will be..hmmm...

Coffee at a friends House

Hey there

I had coffee at my friend, Tanya's house today. She has the loveliest..white..bright home!(I will post more pics of it soon)This is her kitchen, she has a table & chairs from Ikea, which I love & the bright colours of Cath Kidston..the blue vase..the fruit, stand out beautifully against the white, don't you think?

Another thing I did at her house is....weigh myself....(I don't have a scale at home,probably for a good reason) - I was shocked!I have never weighed this much in my life, even when pregnant! So, I think (I hope) I got a bit of a wake-up call. I think its harder to lose/maintain weight as you get on in age..Then again, sometimes I do believe that some people are more prone to weight-gain & others are more fortunate to have a quicker metabolism. What do you think?
