My Bedroom

 

Hello

Thought I would show you a few pics of my bedroom. I am trying to keep it neat & clean despite the lack of cupoards!

We were at Ikea on the weekend & I saw some lovely cupboards, I am thinking seriously about trying to get some before the end of 2010, it will then be 4 years in this house will serious lack of storage! At least with Ikea's prices, it is a reality...

Hi all

We had a great family trip to Wicklow on the weekend. The hotel was lovely & Wicklow is just beautiful. Unfortunately we didn't get to see as much as we would have liked to as it was cold & the roads were not very safe. But we did get to Avoca, which was stunning! We had lunch at the Fernhouse Cafe - delicious! My hubby & I want to go back there on our anniversary & have dinner..perhaps stay over at a nice hotel. But thats October...

How have your holidays been? We are just home this week, sitting by the fire - although my hubby has been working a lot at home & had to go into work the other day.

Reflecting on 2009...

 

Hello all

We are in gorgeous Wicklow, having a relaxing time & eating too much!

This has certainly been a sad year for me...I hope that I can learn & grow from what I have been through. I suppose its all you can do with the tragedies that life throws at you - try & move forward... amidst the hurt & sadness.Children certainly fill your days & your heart & keep you going. I feel blessed to have my two.

Hello all...it is freezing here in Ireland, I was out earlier & am glad to be back after being on the icy roads!We are going away on Thursday for 3 days & I cannot wait, I just want to go for walks,clear my head & read some books.

Remembering Dad ♥

Hello everyone

Yesterday was a very difficult & sad day for me, as I took my Dad down to the ocean & laid him to rest. The sun was starting to set & the tide was coming in & it was really beautiful down there, at Inchadoney beach in Cork. My Dad loved the sea, he surfed as a young man & fished & loved swimming all his life. I know he would have wanted to be here.

He has been gone 11 months now & will never be forgotten.
