Devastated

Hello everyone

I lost my dad yesterday...he was only 57.
I am so incredibly devastated - I loved him so much.
I am going to cape town today to be with my family for a while, its going to kill me to leave the kids and go so far away.But I have to.

Lovely lace curtains & I love "Rice"!

Thank you for all your lovely comments on my previous post.
My lovely friend Lisa brought these lace curtains over from Ikea for me..I think they look great in my kitchen,although I will have to have them taken up.Boy do I need to get a sewing machine!

I found these adorable plates by "Rice" (does anyone know it?) - in a little shop in Kinsale here in Cork..I love them for giving the kids little snacks etc, & they were only €3!

It snowed here today...proper snow...it was quite magical driving in it, I know there are parts of the world where it is a way of life, but over here it is quite unusual to see it in such quantity!
Well..the city looked really pretty for a while with all the white covering on cars,rooftops..parks..I think its all melted now though!

My favourite Chair

Hiya..I love this chair!Its my favourite in my house...my hubby complained when we bought it because it was "too small" - he is over 6 foot! But..I assured him I would fit very comfortably in it & I do!
What is your favourite chair to relax in at home?

Also thought I would show you my fave slippers...they are so old that they are coming apart at the back! I love them..

Strolling around the shops in beautiful Kinsale yesterday, I came across this Greengate dishtowel (green check one in the middle) for €5! I love sales!
